We are looking at a Class C used RV, preferably under $10K. We don’t have a lot of money, and we don’t want to finance, so we are looking for something we can afford to just buy outright. We don’t want a pile of problems though, so we are a bit limited. We’ve looked at a smaller RV that is only 21 feet long, and I’m not sure that is enough space for us to live in full time. But it is affordable. So affordable in fact, that it will probably be gone by the time we have the cash in hand to get it.
So where does that leave us? Well, with nothing at the moment. We have two cars, both owned outright, and both worth about $3k to $4k each. We can sell one of those, maybe both, and have enough for the RV, and a decent one at that. That would leave us without a car though, and we would like to have a smaller vehicle to travel around town and such while we are camping. Is that needed? Maybe not, but it would be convenient.
For now though, we wait.
