Winegard ConnecT 2.0 – Apparently Dead?

I went to turn on the ConnecT 2.0 this morning to see if I can reach the campground wifi network now that there are less RVs blocking the signal. The wifi SSID is not showing up at all. I’m not sure what happened, but it may not be getting power. The default SSID is not there, no other SSID is there that might be it, so it appears to not be working at all.

I had not used the ConnecT in awhile since our hotspot has been working fine, but there definitely is something wrong with it. When I get back this afternoon, I’ll have to check to make sure it is getting power, and if it is, then try and figure out why it is not working. I don’t know if there is a physical reset button on the device, but if there is, it has to be up on the unit itself. We are expecting thunderstorms today and tomorrow, so that will have to wait until this weekend.

I hope there is nothing wrong with it and that it is somehow not getting power. Maybe a cable came loose in the electronics cabinet with me moving things around. That would be the most likely reason and I hope it is the problem since that is an easy fix. It will require using a multimeter to figure out if it is getting power or not and then hopefully a repair is easy enough to do.

If it is getting power but something else is wrong, then we’ve got bigger issues that I don’t know how to fix aside from contacting Winegard for service advice.

UPDATE!!

Fortunately, it was an easy fix and is working fine!
