Searching for an RV

Searching for an RV

We looked at an RV in Minnesota and it left a lot to be desired. I know we don’t have a lot to work with, so we can’t be that choosy, but this one really needed some work. And a fridge. And maybe an air conditioner. It was a decent price, and the engine ran perfectly, but the repairs and cost that wold be needed to get it up to fully working condition was just too much.

So we look elsewhere.

I’ve been looking at craigslist. I’ve kept mostly to within two or three hours of home, but I’ve also been checking the pages farther away near where family or friends live. That way if it is acceptable online, we can have someone we know and trust go look at it and report back on whether or not it is worth going the distance to look at. For now, there are a couple of smaller RVs, but of course the good ones are gone quickly. Until we sell a car though, we don’t have a lot to work with. So that should be number one priority.

For now, it is looking. We have a deadline of the end of July, so we still have time, but we’d like to have something in place before that. We will find something though, we will just have to keep searching.
